Time has passed for the two, and there is still much to learn, both about themselves and about each other. Amidst the happiness swirls confusion, fueling questions and worry in each of their hearts. A flame ignites deep in their souls, but the world is rarely content to leave well enough alone.
The second part of the Song of Embers. While this can be read relatively easily as its own work, some of the context may be confusing without reading the first part (Spark and Tinder). I would like to make an aside to say that this was a massive pain to rate, since the sexual content is only about one half of a chapter, but simply rating it "Mature" felt off, so I left it as unrated. For those out there who prefer not having such content in their reading, I will have a note attached to the front of the chapter, and that section of the chapter can be safely skipped with minimal context loss.

Blake has a crush on the barista named Yang, so much so that she worries over her health with how often Yang smokes. What she doesn't realize is that Yang never smokes, and the smoke coming out of her mouth is another matter entirely... a more mythical matter, if you will.
