Logan looks into his eyes- the effect is so much deeper with him than with anyone else; He can see Scott’s eyes, despite the ruby quartz, which makes it all the more intimate- and quickly looks back down at his claws. He retracts them. “People do crazy things for love.”
Right. Because Logan is in love with Scott’s wife.
It feels so natural for Scott- to exist, just the three of them- that he tends to forget his happiness brings Logan pain.
He picks up Logan’s hand and caresses the space between his knuckles. There’s still a bit of dried blood, creating an outline of his claws, and Scott wipes it away.
“Sometimes I worry that because your skin heals so fast, you try to make everything else fix itself on that timeline too... Just because the scar is gone doesn’t mean the pain wasn’t real.”

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)

Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.

“Persona!” calls a girl in a tight red catsuit. A being materializes behind the girl and sends fireballs at the Shadow. The Shadow - which looks familiar in a way that she does not expect it to - responds by knocking the girl down. Backup arrives. The group seems surrounded, and they are not exactly doing well. She could help, but - all she has is a fake gun.
She watches as one of them - wearing a black trench coat and red gloves - points the fakest looking gun she’s ever seen and fires. It hits the Shadow. It works, so why doesn’t hers?
“I chooseth this fate of mine own will.”
What did the girl say?
Persona. . .
She raises the gun to her head. Someone - is that a UFO? - finally notices and calls out in a panic, but now she’s sure of what she’s doing. “Per. . . so. . . na.” She shoots. Someone screams. Messiah bursts forth in all his glory, almost like a long-forgotten friend.

Ryuji doesn’t really like Akechi.
Yeah, yeah, he doesn’t actually know the guy, but Sojiro has the TV on constantly when they’re working the shop, and literally every time Akechi’s face pops up on some stupid ass interview show, Ryuji begs Akira to change the channel. He never does. So, Ryuji gets to listen to him prattle about being a genius or whatever, and now he’s actually in the shop and Ryuji… kind of wants to fuck with him.
Akechi is so damn polite. He wonders what it takes to break the little good boy act.
