“But it will get rid of your hiccups!” Dick cried, placing his hands on Bruce's shoulders with a serious expression, except for the goofy grin he had on his face.
Bruce now got the idea he was being teased. He might've gone along with it on a different day, but today he was annoyed he couldn't get rid of those damn hiccups and it was slowly driving him insane.

Wei Ying didn't think he was that obvious, but eventually Hua-gege opened one of his eyes and glanced at him with a hint of worry. He didn't look as though he just woke up.
“A-Ying?” His voice was quiet, careful not to wake up the one person who was asleep. “Is something wrong?”
Wei Ying forced himself to shake his head and whispered just as quietly, “I'm okay, Hua-gege. I just can't sleep.”
Hua-gege hummed, and then his arm wrapped around Wei Ying’s middle gently, the weight comforting. The man pulled Wei Ying into his side and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead. Although Hua-gege was cold, Wei Ying never felt warmer.

Izuku didn't want to believe this was real. He wanted to act as if it was all just a nightmare.
He knew better.
As much as Izuku didn't know fantasy tropes, Time Loops were something he was familiar with. And going by his experience, he was stuck in one.
Or, Izuku is stuck in a time loop and every time he dies, he wakes up on the same day, in the morning.

Of course, Shouta was bullshitting. Because at that moment Parakeet sank his teeth deep into the Number One's flesh and the Hero squeaked.

Instead of answering, All Might took out his wallet and gave him his credit card. He grinned at him with his trademark smile, “Absolutely! Buy yourself whatever you want, Young Midoriya!”
Izuku stared at the credit card with wide eyes, and his mouth opened slightly in shock. He expected to be given some cash, enough to buy something small from Lunch Rush. He didn't expect a whole credit card!
