“Yes,” said Aether slowly, drawing out the vowel. There were a thousand and one ways this conversation could go, and he almost feared to hope. “In fact, I do.”
Aether watched the star on Albedo’s neck bobble as he swallowed. When he turned back to him, his eyes were bright. “Show me then,” he said with all the command of a teacher expecting his pupil to comply. “Show me all that you know.”

Summary

In which, Aether is in Inazuma, but gets hurt. Unable to call for Xiao, Paimon takes it upon herself to beg the Adeptus to come to their aid after a rather gruesome incident.
Xiao responds to her call at hearing the utter distress in her voice out of fear, only to find something he never wished he would've.
Why..Why won't Aether call his name when he is in need of help? He could protect him, couldn't he?
