“Any surprises for us?”
“They wouldn’t be surprises if I just went and told you, would they?” Robby half-laughed, his hand lightly patting his back. Which was the same thing Dana did just moments before, but also somehow not the same at all. Jack relaxed into it, the touch familiar and welcoming, if only fleeting.
Except that it wasn’t fleeting, not this time. Robby’s hand stilled but remained on his back, the tips of his fingers just barely grazing the skin above his collar. Jack sent him a surprised look but obviously said nothing, choosing to relish in the touch for as long as he was allowed.

Tousled onyx waves and a clean beard cropped short, wide kind eyes, rich dark skin, tall—over six feet at least—and a blinding smile all coalesced into a man who was almost certainly used to being noticed by women and probably men alike. Unfortunately for him, Samira Mohan rarely took notice of people not in her care.

There's some frantic footsteps, a thump, and then silence. Odd. She gets up to investigate, ball in hand, and finds Robby's office door cracked open, and through the windowed walls she sees the man himself. He's crumpled against the wall, shaking and humming, not even acknowledging her as she walks in. She walks over carefully, determining if this is just some emotional upheaval—maybe he just found out his dog died—or if it's something deeper.
OR
Trinity finds Robby having a panic attack and does the only things she can think, call his emergency contact. She shocked at who shows up to say the least. (Formula 1 Version)

A second later, he finally blurts, “I need someone to help… Dr. Abbot is here.”
Samira checks her watch and finally looks up at how nervous Dennis is in the doorway. It’s not entirely unusual for Dr. Abbot to arrive an hour early to get a lay of the land before the night shift arrives.
“Help with what?”
“He looks really stressed. He said his calf muscle is burning, and he is feeling a sharp stabbing pain every 45 seconds.”
Samira nods in understanding and is already standing up, moving to the trash can to throw the half-sewn banana away. “ Did you look at his calf? Is the muscle injured?”
Dennis goes white and shakes his head no as he holds the break room door open for her to walk out. “He was talking about the right calf.”
Samira picks up her pace and follows Dennis to the side family room, where he stashed Jack. “You need to tell Robby.”

Pushing off the counter, Jack crossed the few feet that stretched like a chasm between them until he was directly in front of Robby. His gaze was no less intense up close, hazel eyes searching Robby’s own for any tell. “I want you to tell me why you don’t think you’re going to return.”
A small broken sound caught in Robby’s chest, confronted at last by the one person he couldn’t lie to about a truth he’d been planning for weeks but hadn’t admitted out loud. “Would you believe me if I told you that it was a dream of mine to relocate to Canada?”
