Summary
The choice to move wasn't of his parents. Xiao knew this but, being a young child, he resented his parents for quite some time when they had settled down in Inazuma.
Inazuma was completely different from Liyue. There was far more judgment here compared to his home back in Liyue. Everywhere you looked, there was judgement. Some locals were nice, guided them, Some were uncomfortable with the foreigners in their midst.
The standards for grades here were also increadbly high here. To the point where most children thought of work more than play. It was an odd country.
Xiao didn't like it one bit.
The house he had moved into was bigger than his old one, Being provided to his family by his father's business in a quite wealthy neighbourhood, but it did not bear the feel of home. He missed his old house.
His neighbours were an odd bunch. His parents had tried to meet them on multiple occasions, yet the family next door refused meeting them. The husband and wife both wore odd clothes, which his mother explained were the traditional clothes of Inazuma. The 'Yukata' as she called it. He stayed away from those neighbours.

Summary
The apartment he and Kazuha had been living in since College had been stripped bare to the white wallpaper. Every little sound echoed in the basically empty apartment, yet Kazuha slept unperturbed.
Perhaps because he had been through this before. First when he moved from Inazuma to Liyue due to his asthma, then again when the time came to go back. Again when he decided to come back to Liyue for college.
Xiao had never once gone on even a vacation outside Liyue, Much less had a move which seemed to be permanent until further notice.

Summary
Soft and soothing. The tune began to play at dusk, just as the sun had began to rise. It was similar to the tune often played by the God of Freedom, Barbatos, but at the same time, completely different. The tune was slightly mourning, bringing wishes of happiness for the dead, is what his own God had taught him, ever the know-it-all.
It held an attractive force to it. Perhaps, had a talented bard wandered from Mondstat to Liyue?
None the less, The Yaksha could not help but gravitate towards it.

“Wait, wait,” Lance stood up. “You are driving to Houston.”
“Yes.”
“A drive that’s over thirty hours.”
“Yup.”
“By yourself.”
“Sure seems like it.”
“To clean out a storage container of your dead mother, that you have never met, that is now legally under your name.”
“Correct.”
Lance wondered if Keith had lost his mind.
“Keith, there could be dead bodies in that storage container!” He argued. “Or a meth lab. Or worse, mannequins dressed up like dolls sat at a tea party or some weird shit like that.”
Keith offered him an unimpressed blink. “I’ll be fine.”
“Keith, this is insane. You can’t go by yourself!”
Keith glanced at him as he shouldered his backpack.
“Come with me then.”
And that small, damned smirk tilted Keith’s lips as he held Lance’s gaze.
“What do you think, Lance?” He asked. “2,251 miles. Think you could handle it?”
Lance stopped short.
Contemplated.
And, well. Lance had nothing to do either.
So. That’s how this all started.Two disasters drive cross-country to clean out a storage container that may have dead bodies hidden inside and, hey, maybe a bit of love as well.

"At three in the morning," Shiro added with a yawn "Also, you can't just walk into people's room while their sleeping and announce that stuff, Matt. It's weird."
