"Yukkie… Do you think humanity deserves to be saved?" Ruka blurted out without thinking much. Yuki immediately started choking on her drink, her sputters echoing in the evening silence.
"W-What kind of question is that supposed to be?!" she asked in response.
Ah. Maybe Ruka shouldn't have said that. She wasn't supposed to tell anyone what she was there for after all.
But she still wanted that answer. Anything, just to have a starting point.
"…I had no idea you were thinking about something so serious," Yuki eventually said. "But… of course it deserves it."
"How can you be so confident about it...?"
A love story between the alien tasked with finding someone who can save the world and the human girl who always stays by her side.

"…Huh?" Yuki uttered, too taken aback by the sudden question."W-Why are you asking me about that…?"
"Hmm? We're going out so we can get married in the future, right? So I'm asking to know what you think about when the wedding should be," she said casually, and Yuki-
Yuki wished something would knock out either of them.

“Kayamori. Are you going to eventually tell me why you're here, or am I supposed to guess?” Higuchi asked her, finally sparing her a glance. “Having trouble with your seraph again?”
“No, that's not it.”
“Then what is it? Don't tell me you're here just to hang out.”
“Why not?”
“Because then you wouldn't stop bothering me until you got what you wanted. So, what is it about?” the girl repeated her question.
“Well… Yukkie,” Ruka finally admitted.
“Oh? Izumi again?” she said, a slightly ominous smile now on her lips. “Are you going to throw another jealous fit? Go ahead, I'm starting to find those amusing.”
Following the events of chapter 5.1, Ruka finds herself reflecting on her relationship with Yuki.

“Oh, Yukkie! How long have you been here?” Ruka asked, her eyes widening in surprise.
“Just a moment… Sorry, I didn't mean to spy on you or anything,” Yuki mumbled. “It started raining when I was outside trying to do some programming, so I thought I'd hide here for a while… I didn't expect anyone to be here. I didn't want to interrupt you either…”
“No need to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong,” she replied with a smile. “You really could've just said you're here though! Come down here, it looks like it's gonna rain for a while and the couch is probably more comfortable than the stairs.”
“Is this really fine with you…?” Yuki asked hesitantly. She had assumed that since Ruka came there by herself, she wanted to be alone…
“Mhm. You said you wanted to do some programming, and I'm just doing some song writing. I'm always happy to spend some time with Yukkie, even if we're doing different things."
The relationship between an idol and a 'former' fan can be a little complicated at times, especially when it comes to love.

“...Ruka?” A quiet voice she’d recognize anywhere interrupted her gloomy thoughts.
Well, if she’s awake anyway…
“Did I wake you up, Yukkie? Sorry,” she muttered softly, walking up towards her bed and sitting down on the floor. She really did feel sorry, but she couldn’t help but hope that Yuki would indulge her for a bit, like she always did.
“You did, but it’s fine. I know you didn’t mean to,” the girl replied. “What were you standing there for? Is everything okay?”
“Mhm. Again, sorry for waking you up. I just… had a strange dream,” Ruka whispered, resting her cheek against the edge of the mattress in a way that made it possible to stare at Yuki, even though the dark made it hard to see much. Just hearing the other girl’s voice was soothing her nerves though. “But it’s okay. It just made me not sleepy anymore, so can I bother you for a moment?”
“If you have to bother anyone, I suppose I’ll carry that burden,” Yuki sighed.
Woken up by a weird dream in the middle of the night, Ruka ends up chatting with Yuki about various things... mostly their future marriage though. In Yuki's bed at that.
