There is a tradition that whenever two people stand under the mistletoe, they have to kiss.” She chuckles when Sanji’s eyes widen a little. Almost teasingly she adds: “Do you have someone in mind to try this with?”

Peter surprised him when he turned down his offer to join the Avengers, but instead of just leaving him to his own devices, Tony took a more personal approach and spent the time to actually get to know the kid. And really started to care about him. So much so that he always knew where the kid was, he spent almost every weekend with him, and he'd added numerous protocols to the suit to keep him safe.
He thought he'd planned for every contingency. He'd just never planned for this.
