Just as he was about to make a break for it he heard, "Uh..." and spun around to face a very stunned Cliff Marlow. Fuck.
Shane froze. Oh god, Oh fuck. It seemed to be the only thing his brain could think right now.
Marlow looked at him, mouth open. He then looked at Rozanov, who had followed right behind him - his eyes wide and jaw clenched, and looked back to Shane.
"...you guys are friends??"
Friends. Right. Because rivals secretly being friends made a hell of a lot more sense than rivals secretly fucking.
