It starts raining around twelve, long strings obscuring his view and making the ocean's surface ripple. Ianto has started counting things: Seagulls (twenty-eight), screws (sixty-two he can see), times his mind has drifted to his and Jack's night together (six, twice of those prompted by the way Jack's hand flexes around the steering wheel or the ripple of muscles under his sweatshirt when he rolls back his shoulders, trying to work out a kink in his back). He can't help it. Just this once, they agreed, and Ianto curses himself for it, because as good as it was, now that Ianto's gotten a taste of what it feels like to receive Jack's full, undiluted attention, he doesn't think he can ever stop chasing that high.

She must be aware of the effect her touch has on her, Nadeshda thinks as a hand rests on her thigh during the drive to the restaurant, lands on her upper arm as they wait to be seated, brushes against her hip and rests on her lower back as they leave. By the time they arrive at Klemm's appartment, Nadeshda is so wired from the incessant touches that she's practically buzzing with it.

There's still a small part of Giles that pipes up in protest at the thought of, well, sullying the library- though it is well-sullied by now, anyways. A much bigger part of him is desperate for a good night's sleep and the steady, practiced hands of his lover, so he simply locks eyes with her (she's blurry, where has he misplaced his glasses again) and nods.
or: Giles has a talent for getting worked up over nothing, locking himself in the library for days on end and forgetting about his own human needs. Luckily, Jenny has her methods - even if not everything always works out on the first try.

Our eyes meet again and my heart rate picks up, reminding me of a time before this, of warm summer evenings spent outside, doing homework and sharing ice cream. Of blushing every time our hands touched.Of getting out of school and running through the rain, laughing, sharing Genya's jacket as he holds it over our heads. I blink, and for a moment the person in front of me is still the wild but gentle teen I've known for so long. I blink again and the rain seems to wash this image away, but I get lost in the same dark eyes.

Normall that wouldn't be an issue for the Torchcrew to solve, but when UNIT cart him off in the dead of the night, they're left playing catch up. Not to mention the obvious trap they're walking into.

The abandoned Wonderland Theme Park is long known by Cardiff locals to be haunted. A place where kids break in after school for a cheap thrill and get drunk. After one of those kids ends up in a state at the police station, going on about seeing her dead father, the Torchcrew decide it's time to take a look. Some very familiar faces greet them. It's up to the group to figure out which of their foes is the real deal and which is an imposter before the paranoia gets the better of them.
