Kamui spoke in that sweet, fascinated tone she only used when something truly moved her. Her vermilion eyes sparkled with a light that had nothing to do with magic, her cheeks were tinged pink with emotion, and the greenhouse breeze gently stirred her silvery hair.
She looked beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
And Leo felt, with that familiar pang in his chest, the need to be closer, just a little closer. He could maybe touch her hand, or her cheek, or her lips.
