There was a strange sense of feeling.. proud to have Albedo looked at the spaceship. Aether can only think that it was probably his own eagerness to show everything of himself to Albedo, and it’s always flattering to see how much interest Albedo held in his eyes at something that is related to him. Aether felt seen.

Aether mumbled a silent thanks while Albedo blocked the sun, it was causing him a headache atop the pain on his back but he felt too paralyzed to move. Each shiver causes abrupt suffering and more torture.
“As endearing as it sounds I’m afraid you’ll— Aether..”
Suddenly Albedo’s voice sounded distant and far, then a sudden exertion flared the burning on his back. Aether recalled hissing and trying to wiggle out of pain but strong arms held him and Albedo’s whispers trying to calm him down. Whatever happened after that he barely cared, happy to pass out.

“You can see me?” the stranger cuts him.

The stranger vanished in thin air again, leaving him with the familiar feeling of weightless presence in his hand. A mist permeates into the air and joins the dust floating around. Aether isn’t sure anymore. What the heck should he do after someone asks him that kind of question and then disappears?
Maybe Dragonspine doesn’t need adventurers but an exorcist.

“Albedo open your eyes,” Aether demands softly. “It’s okay, look.”
Hovering above the lands of Teyvat, Aether halts where most of the clouds are clear and the sky is most visible. It’s like a huge veil blanketing the night sky in a pattern of thousands of stars.

The camera was set up at the foot of the floor bed. The ring lights were placed, the background was set and the monitor that displayed his chat was arranged behind the camera. Aether stares nervously at his set up. He has seen it a lot of times, and done things in the same bed that can’t be considered appropriate while thousands of people are watching.
This would be his first time with a partner. Aether wanted to make sure everything was planned correctly.

Aether did not cry, but his firm hold and desperation to be held is telling enough. Albedo only ever hopes that his embrace can lift even a little of the weights that burdens him, providing some clarity to bring back the sun in his eyes.
