Summary
Herein lies his issue.
It’s a basic principle, really. Displacement versus distance. Rek knows following SB’s bridges to the city isn’t the fastest way, isn’t the most efficient, the winding path adding seconds in ways he can’t afford. In the absence of the compass stitched into the edges of his vision, though, without the coordinates to draw him a vector direct across the void to his target, a straight shot is a gamble Rek doesn’t know if he can take. His blunder all that time ago in the woods echoes back in his head, his voice so certain and so wrong, pointing their group in the exact opposite direction of their base, and he twitches, shakes the idea out from his brain. Rek can’t afford wrong.
Rek’s been given time. He just doesn’t know if that’s enough.

Summary
Really, it's incredibly obnoxious, the way these two fit so well in the aching gaps between his ribs where loss has dug its claws in. They ought to be planning out their next runs, trying to figure out any possible way to get a hold of some new drop-related information. It's the apocalypse, and the list of things to do is arduous, infinite.
But there's organizing and sewing to do, too. So he lets the ever-present song of grief that haunts him fade into the jaunty, obscure pop-rock song that Cleo is certainly butchering. He stabs himself with his needle and bites out a few bouts of unpleasant words that make Etho’s eyes light up while he bubbles with laughter.
Yeah, maybe this is alright. Grian can worry about the rest of it tomorrow. It's the apocalypse, and all they have is time.
Grian, Cleo, and Etho are family; even if it's unusual, even if it's the zombie apocalypse. They wear their routines and quirks on their sleeves, keep their secrets and pasts buried six feet deep. But some ghosts are too vicious to outrun, and some secrets are far too fickle to keep.

Summary
The honey farm is so noisy. The constant ticking of the dispenser drives him up the wall, and it’s right in the middle of the walkway. If it was just in the back of the room, the wood and stone could at least have a fighting chance of dulling the sound into something bearable, but no, no. It has to be right here, in his face, in the way, every time he walks back to the turtle farm. Could turn it off, he reckons, but then what’s even the point of having it in the first place? Might as well just get rid of it at that rate, and that wouldn’t make Rek very happy, now would it?
Living with Rekrap2 might just be the most difficult thing SB has ever attempted. It's definitely worth it, though.

Summary
Jason Todd awoke one morning from troubled dreams and found himself transformed into a monstrous—
No. God, he wished.
Metamorphosis, he could have handled. An easy fix. Hell, magic insect transformation was practically an everyday occurrence, in Gotham.
Just… not in this Gotham.
***
Jason Todd awakes one morning in a Gotham that “doesn’t like chaos”, and finds his feet.

“Yeah, well.” That was… probably true, but Jason’s patriotism was piqued. The Alley was his, now more than ever. He took a breath, kept it shallow, kept his voice light. “I guess that, uh, Crime Alley’s not a place in town?”
“Not that I’ve heard of, no.”
“Huh.” He prodded Park Row on the map with his finger. “What’s this one?”
She looked pained, her blue eyes tight. “It’s Park Row. Look, it says.”
“Oh.”
And she took pity. “It’s definitely—well. I can’t say it’s crime-free, but if you’re thinking street crime, that’s not where you’d find it.”
His shoulders tightened. “I’m not looking for—”
“No,” Barbara said. “No, of course you’re not.” She pushed out her cheek with her tongue. “Look,” she said, looking around quickly, “can I give you some advice?” There was no one in hearing distance.
Jason shrugged.
“Okay,” she said. “You’re new in town?”
He shrugged again, one shoulder this time. “Yeah?”
“Well. Gotham’s not like other places. Gotham is—Gotham doesn’t have heroes.”
He frowned at her. “Yeah. Got that.”
“Do you?”

Summary
Hawks wants to save the world, save the villain, and maybe get the man. Jin wants to help quell the broken lonely look in Hawks's eyes, and maybe to finally be loved and wanted by someone. They're both in over their heads and out of their minds.
(Canon-based fic where Hawks and Twice date before the raid. It goes as expected - as in, it implodes.)

It's been a while since Moondae saw Cheongryeo. With his inbox devoid of dog pictures and being halfway across the world, Moondae texted him in a brief moment of impulse.

“What are you wearing?”
Moondae looks at himself. Fine, he’ll humor him just this once.
“Dog pajamas.” It was the truth.
“Sexy.”
“I’m not the one with a Calvin Klein billboard in New York.”
“Wow, hoobaenim, I didn’t know you kept up with me like that.”
“I just happened to see,” Moondae denied.
Cheongryeo chuckled. “It’s fine, it’s not like you’re announcing your Loewe ambassadorship soon, ” Cheongryeo said. In other words, I keep up too.
Because Moondae still hadn’t been announced as the global ambassador of Loewe yet. How the fuck did this guy know?
Moondae thought of investigating a possible mouse in the company. Or maybe it was Jin Chaeyul, who was also a Loewe ambassador. Either way, Cheongryeo shouldn’t have known.
“Stop being obsessed.”
”After everything you pulled? Never.”

The only thing better than sweets were sweets containing paper that told you whether your future would be good or bad--or in Kageyama and Oikawa's case, paper that somehow caused you to live inside each other's bodies.
