Summary
"What the fuck," the villain mutters, apparently still stuck on the splattered corpse and after a moment he turns murderous eyes to Katsuki.
"This is your fault," he hisses, reaching out to wrap his hand around Katsuki's throat and tilting his head up even as he squeezes. "You did this."
"Didn't do shit," Katsuki rasps out, his voice accompanied by the screaming and abrupt silence that means someone else just died and Katsuki wonders who it is that came to his rescue.
His squad is more flashy than that, and Deku would have slammed right in while still making sure that no one dies and even Shinsou—as absurd as it is to think he came for his rescue—makes sure to never kill anyone.

Neito starts to repeat himself at one point and Hitoshi sits up, a frown now on his face because that sounds serious.
That sounds like he pissed someone off big time and somehow this affects Hitoshi, too, if those messages are anything to go by and really, that can only mean that Neito said something stupid and dumb to Katsuki.
Something Hitoshi is potentially going to get into trouble for, if Neito's frantic apologies are anything to go by and Hitoshi is just about to type out a message to ask Neito what the fuck he could have possibly done, when he hears the key in their lock.
Alright, he's going to get it straight from the source then, Hitoshi thinks as he puts the phone to the side, expectantly looking towards the hallway.
It's not long at all before Katsuki steps through the doorway and immediately, Hitoshi is on edge.

This attack is not quite on his patrol route anymore, but it's close enough that Shouta feels comfortable staying here for a few minutes, watching the villains get arrested and shipped off.
He didn't hear anything about anyone being seriously injured, but there are two ambulances around anyway and Shouta makes his way over, briefly checking how severe the injuries are but it seems to be mostly scraps and bruises.
And that's fine and all, until he spots a mop of way too familiar spikey blond hair.
"Bakugo," he says as he steps closer, checking the boy over.

When he wakes up an undetermined amount of hours later, there are noises coming from his kitchen.
Hitoshi is too exhausted and too sick to really care and his instincts don't even kick in. Still the bustling sounds are practically begging him to check them out and if there is someone in his apartment to kill him, Hitoshi would really rather die standing straight than bundled up in his bed.
It's the small things, really.
