Summary
You stir to the feeling of soft pressure against your forehead. You let out a soft whine of complaint as you turn away to hide under the covers, still mostly asleep.
"Ah, ah, come back to me, sweetheart. No sleeping just yet." Coaxing you back with the soft sound of his voice and gentle fingers on your cheek, turning your face towards him, you go reluctantly. You open your eyes just a crack to look up at him, your head throbbing with pain.
Sylus looks worried, his usual wry smirk absent from his face. Judging by the amount of sun filtering through your curtains, it must not be that long since you sent your message.

His twin doesn’t bother to look up, his eyes glued to the new gadget in the workshop. “Probably finalized that one deal he was working on.”
“No, I mean like—” He makes a dramatic pause, trying to find the right word. “Affectionately.”
Both twins' eyes snap open behind their masks. It feels like blasphemy was just spoken, as if the world now spins differently.
Or, five times in which Luke and Kieran witnessed Sylus show something that resembled love.

Summary
The ominous moon that looms over the N109 Zone may as well have been blue on this night for the rare occurrence taking place in Onychinus' base. Blessedly, the stars had seemingly aligned to allow for an overlap of respite between not only yourself and Sylus - but Luke and Kieran too.
Whilst the joyful evening is a balm upon the soul, it cannot hold the night terrors at bay.
But at least none of you have to suffer alone.

You nearly snorted and had to cover your mouth. There was no way the leader of Onychinus was asking you what a soft launch was.-----
In other words, Sylus is nearly 30 and so involved in his business dealings he hasn't kept up on the common "slang" so when your friend makes a post complaining about all the fall soft launches you have to explain what it is and convince him to let you post one of your own.
