Originally, Lu Guang had the bottom bunk. Although Cheng Xiaoshi had conceded it (with minimal grace), it was difficult to say that the bed was well and truly Lu Guang’s. This is because Cheng Xiaoshi seized every possible opportunity to occupy the bed, with or without Lu Guang in it.
