He let himself fall. Nothing more to give than his life, no one more to save than souls lost to the past. “I am done”, he told himself as he waited for his body to hit the ground, “it’s over”. And down and down and beyond he thought he’d heard voices calling, crawling out of his memories and pulling him into the void.
He answered, and fell to his death.
Gi-hun woke up.
He didn’t remember falling asleep. Opening his eyes to a room of creamy colors and dim lights, he found himself alone sitting on a couch, characters on the wall in front of him displaying a warm promise.“Welcome! Everything is fine.”
Gi-hun dies and wakes up in the Good Place. He isn't alone. He shares the afterlife with some familiar faces, and an unfamiliar one.
