They both have to balance desire and duty.
(This story starts sometime during the 2 hour final and speed runs through the last events in order to establish some emotional and plot points and then goes on as a continuation of the story after season two. I'm afraid the first few chapters will feel a bit clunky because of this, but please give it a shot anyways, I promise the story will improve as it goes:))

In which Nomi and Wolfgang share a moment over Russian stew and mothers.
-This piece was inspired by my frustration with Janet Marks (Nomi's mom) sudden acceptance of her daughter thanks to the magical pot brownies in the special. I always thought that if they had had more time, we probably would have gotten a really satisfying story line between Nomi and her mom, but because we did not...I wrote this super short piece to help get it out of my system.
General warning for discussion of a transphobic character and difficult moms in general as well as past child abuse. nothing explicit

Summary
The Cluster defeat Whispers and Lila, but there is still plenty of work left to do.
Struggling with his guilt and trauma from being captured by BPO, Wolfgang takes it upon himself to take care of a new threat. The remaining members of Lila's cluster are sure to seek revenge, but Wolfgang will do anything to stop them, even if it means having to dive deeper back into the Berlin underground and his old criminal networks.
At the same time, Kala has decided to give her marriage with Rajan another chance and has gone back to Bombay in order to oversee the promised changes to Rasal Pharmaceutical's shadier business practices.
But Rajan struggles to accept his wife's relationship to Wolfgang, and the delicate balance that the three of them have established is threatened.

Whatever it is, it’s Dean who can’t make sense of what he’s seeing, and he’s not drunk, just... moving in slow motion. A step inside the bathroom. He’s kneeling down. Reaching out. Slowly. His left ear is ringing. All of it is so... blurred - Sam, too. The cuts on his arm. The all too familiar glaze over his eyes. The jagged knife on his lap. And he’s smiling, that fuckhead. He’s smiling.

Summary
The problem with being a teenage wizard on the verge of going warlock with no impulse control was -
Okay, actually there were a lot of problems with that, in hindsight. But the specific problem was, when the person who was acting as your impulse control got brutally murdered, things tended to get messy.
You know. Hypothetically.
(Harry will defend his choices after that to his dying day. So will Ramirez. Marcone, for his part, really wishes those choices hadn't been made in Chicago and thus become his problem.)
