Summary
It's been 4 years since the end of the Giant War and everyone is moving on with their life, including one Perseus Jackson.
Percy has followed in his mother's footsteps and become a fairly successful author. As a way to work through his trauma, Percy took his childhood journal and the journals he wrote about what his friends told him happened in the war and wrote 10 books and several short stories that he puts away, never thinking anyone would look at them.
One day while helping Percy organize his cabin Hazel stumbles upon the box and soon all of Percy's friends know about these books and they want to read them! Percy eventually relents under the stipulation that his friends have to help him find a way to get the gods to come and listen to them because Percy wants to use this humiliation if he can to get the gods to understand what it's like to live as a demigod and maybe get Zeus to change the laws keeping the gods from being in their children's lives.
