Summary
It’s not the first time Zanka’s felt Jabber’s hand in his, but it is one of the few times he’s felt it without the leather and metal of Mankira’s glove. It’s also one of the few times where Zanka hasn’t been trying to pin Jabber’s hands so he can crush his windpipe with Assistaff. Compared to that, this feels…weird. Intimate in a way Zanka isn’t entirely sure about, in a way he knows Jabber chafes under. This feels like they’re one of those sappy, handholdy couples, and not…this.

Summary
Jabber is someone Zodyl finds easy to read, and somewhat hard to understand. When he returns from his failed mission, he brings information —along with words that belie his newfound interest.
Zanka is the name that Jabber finds himself hung up on, and Zodyl wonders if the Cleaner could live up to the idea Jabber has formed.

“The people aren’t the same as Prince Kaeya.” The guard said, “They can’t take as much memory disposal as he can. If this keeps happening, then…” He trailed off, slowly shaking his head.
Pierro knew what would happen. They’d all wither away.
“Dainsleif.” He whispered– he hadn’t heard that name in centuries before he first started communicating with Kaeya, and so he turned to the guard, “Find him. Kill him.”
The guard appeared apprehensive, “Do you think we can?” He asked, “Dainsleif was… the best of us.”
“Are you questioning my orders?” Pierro asked, sitting forward, “Kill him.”
