Summary
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony, but everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he turned against it.
A hundred years passed, and the war ended, but a new Avatar has yet to be found. The Earth Kingdom waits, ready, for any stirrings of power expected to rise in their lands. The Fire Nation works to rebuild relations with the rest of the world, sending its trusted envoy Skulduggery Pleasant to keep watch over Nefarian Serpine. The Water Tribes strengthen themselves, and the last scattered descendents of Air Nomads hide, not yet ready to believe they are safe. Their newest member, Stephanie Edgley, starts to stretch her wings.

The new Galactic Empire has been established and it's kinda sus, you have to admit. There's not much you can do about it as a freighter pilot, but you can at least try to check in with the troopers you knew and see what the lay of the land is now that the dust is settling. It turns out there's really only one trooper you know around any more, and even he seems different.

Perhaps all brothers are the same, thought Éowyn, looking at Elrond. I suppose I’ve always known he had a twin, but only just now did I realise it. Not because he looks like a brother, but because in this moment he looks like mine.
Perhaps that was what small, pointless memories, like the image of little Éomer and his three-legged wooden horses, did: twitch every now and then, to remind one of old lives and connect them to new ones. Han Solo dies on Starkiller Base. Han Solo wakes up in the Millenium Falcon, in the middle of the Clone Wars. Han Solo is promptly captured by Anakin and the 501st, and feels that he is fully justified in being incredibly pissed off at his father-in-law.
Why is he here? Who, or what, sent him back? What is he here to do? Han doesn't know the answers to these questions, or anything else really, he just knows that his idiot father-in-law needs straightening out, and even though he failed to be the father Ben needed, the Force seems to be giving him a second chance, of sorts.
Rated T for Han Solo's potty mouth.
