    Summary

    A soul mate AU that was somehow conjured in the middle of the night.

    Unwanted: Everyone only has one mate. Joseline knew her mate never wanted her and when the bombs fell she was certain that he died anyway. Then she saved Nick Valentine, and really he couldn't be her mate. He wasn't human. It wasn't possible, right?

    Reunited: Joseline has spent months bringing three of the biggest factions in the Commonwealth together but tensions are increasing with enemy factions and all she wants is to get some sleep. John Hancock is trying and failing to keep Goodneighbor safe but maybe the Minutemen could lend a hand. Nick Valentine is trying to come to terms with who he is but the past keeps pulling him back. In the Commonwealth, nothing is a coincidence and sometimes when people take different paths they end up reuniting.

You'll know he trusts you when he calls you 'Problem Child.'" He smiled fondly, handing Izuku a pair of rings on a chain.

    When the world ends, their only hope is to send one Quirkless man back in time. Back in his 14-year-old body, will Midoriya Izuku be able to save the world that shunned him all his life? And will he finally be able to become a hero this go around?

    Izuku Midoriya is unlucky, to say the least and life hasn't exactly been kind. Things weren't so bad in the beginning, but once he was diagnosed quirkless, well, it all went to shit. Everyone grew to hate him, even his best friend and own father.

    Was it really that impossible to become a hero without a quirk? It doesn't really matter because to Izuku, the term hero is flexible. He'll be his own hero because he's learnt from his own experience, people are selfish and the only one he can rely on is himself.

    Left alone to fend for himself in the world, Izuku goes out to change things on his own terms, despite his methods being slightly illegal. Keyword, slightly. It's only illegal if he gets caught, right?

    Aizawa refuses to let his Problem Child travel back in time alone, even to fix a future where All for One was the victor. They go back with a plan that's more of a list, spend a year technically missing, and become rather effective vigilantes that fix some rather serious problems. And then it's time to be found, which seems to primarily result in lots of support and many hugs. Neither Izuku or Aizawa complain very much.

    Izuku learned at a very young age that love is conditional. Love is a reward for following the rules, love is reserved for those who are worthy of it, for those who are loveable.
    Izuku was not loveable, well at least not according to anyone he'd ever met.
    All he ever wanted to do was help people, to be someone worthy of loving but at 12 years old he's left with nothing and no one. Living on the streets he has to make his own way in life and maybe help some of the people in this community he's found himself in.
    Follow his journey as Izuku skirts the line of the law saving people and maybe even finding someone who thinks he's worth loving.
