They take up the entire couch; with his knees bent Richie's sneaker clad feet are scuffing the arm rest, but Eddie seems to kind of fit. Kind of. It's almost like they've done this before, what with the way Richie's imagined it a hundred times; Eddie pushing him back and down into some kind of soft surrender. But they haven't. They definitely haven't.

Eddie Kaspbrak lifts himself from the rubble of Neibolt House, but something feels off about the way he feels in his body. He notices the others are gone, but Richie has stayed behind for God knows what reason, and Eddie catches him just before the other attempts to take his own life.
