Summary
Will moves back to an upright position, wiping his hair out of his eyes, head and shoulders peeking above the water. “Mike,” he says, pulling Mike up with him, their fingers still intertwined.
“Yeah?” Mike says, tilting his head so the water trickles out of his ears, wincing slightly. “What is it?”
Will’s eyes dart back and forth between his, and then Mike feels his hand squeeze his own. “I don’t want you to, like, think I moved back for you,” he starts, which in and of itself would be enough to get Mike’s soul soaring straight out of his own body, if it weren’t for Will’s thumb pressed against his pulse point like some kind of mortal tether. “Because it’s not like that, I promise. But I think– I think I realized there’s a difference between things you want and things you need, you know?”

Summary
Will scowls. “Not funny,” he says for a third time. “Go away.”
Mike drops the stick unceremoniously. It falls to the damp forest floor, tumbling over itself before coming to a stop, splashing a few drops of water onto the hem of Will’s pants. “Okay fine,” Mike says. “I’ll bite. What’s your deal?”
The other fact of the matter is this: tomorrow, Will is going to walk into the Upside Down and not look back. Tomorrow, he is either going to kill Vecna or die trying — and Mike is not going with him.
Even the actual apocalypse had to end sometime, but Will didn’t exactly expect it to happen like this.

Summary
A few things happen at once.
1. Mike takes a step towards him, quickly invading Will’s personal space and causing Will’s heart rate to quicken.
2. His hand goes to the closed closet door behind the two of them, and he pulls it open.
3. Suddenly, Will is being pushed right back into the closet by Mike Wheeler, and the closet door closes quickly behind the two of them, leaving them trapped in the darkness.
4. One single thought runs through Will Byers’ head: Oh, you have got to be shitting me right now.Or:
Will and Mike get trapped in the closet together. At Mike Wheeler's house. Because... you know... the universe is an asshole and stuff.

Summary
Moominpappa had resigned himself to knowing that the Joxter wouldn’t return to Moominvalley, even if it had taken him longer than even the Mymble to stop showing up by the small bridge every summer morning. Moominmamma had given birth to their son, tiny Moomintroll, the same year the Joxter had disappeared with nary a trace.
Nary a trace. Not without a trace.
For even if the Mymble did adamantly refuse to name the fathers of any of her children, it was quite obvious as to who the father of the clearly half-mumrik, only-child that she delivered in the following spring was.
OR,
Snufkin doesn't really have any parents— at least, not since he was little. This is fine.
OR,
This isn't fine anymore.
