He's wondered, at times, if the reticence turned out to be long-lasting, whether he would settle anyway, for how nice it is to have his little, private understanding of Hongjoong in spite of it. Then, spring into summer, Hongjoong opened up to him like a flower. He folded him into his life so determinedly it makes San’s heart hurt to think about for too long.

Summary
Before this, before everything, Hollywood had him believe that dividing the spoils of a jewel heist is some grand, decadent affair – Good-looking people dressed all in black laughing around a table while drenched in diamonds and good champagne.
Of course now that Park Seonghwa is actually a jewel thief, it would turn out that dividing the spoils, as it were, is a long, methodical, and ultimately tedious process. Hours, sometimes days would go to carefully appraising each item, determining their value and deciding if it's worth more as it is or disassembled from its settings. It involves bleary eyes, nightmarish Excel spreadsheets and unhealthy amounts of convenience store-grade caffeine. Definitely no champagne in sight. But at least there is Kim Hongjoong.
(Or : a slice of post-heist routine for the Ateez crew)

Summary
