Summary
Finally, Drew leaned back, thumb still tapping idly. “You know Liam went on a date last week?”
Henry blinked up at the cloud that looked suspiciously like a middle finger. “…Cool?”
“Some girl. Didn’t work out. They didn’t click,” Drew went on, voice smooth, casual, like he was just filling the air. Then, without looking at him, “Not like you and him do.”
Henry froze for a beat too long. The cicadas roared louder in the silence.
“Oh,” he said. “You think?”

Lia rang the bell once more, letting the sound drag out before she decided to let go of the button. She wasn’t exactly sure how many times she would ring before she guessed that nobody was home, but she was sure Drew hadn’t left his house since-
“Can you stop?” growled Drew, face peeking through a crack in his hilariously large door.
“We’re going to the beach. So, get ready!”

Summary
Drew was never supposed to feel sorry. Not for the names he spat, the cruel insults he hissed, or the silence he left in his wake. But when everything falls apart, the only people left are the ones he has hurt the most—
And they're not as cruel as they should be.
Or:
A story about Drew living with, surviving, and learning from the guilt of calling Jake a freak and all the times he bullied the music club. Lots of ups and downs, but Drew gets closure. Eventually.
