Summary
It isn't like she can't understand why everyone is so obsessed with Ongsa (after all, there's no one more obsessed with Ongsa than Sun herself), it is just that Sun feels like it’s unfair and actually a little disrespectful to her girlfriend that they're obsessed with her just now. Ongsa has been gorgeous her whole life and Sun thinks it's a little ridiculous that it took her wearing contacts and letting her hair down a couple of times for people to finally acknowledge it.

It's a little maddening how much Sun craves her presence when they are apart, how much she looks forward to seeing Ongsa's little smile when she tells Sun a joke she knows Sun will find funny, or how much Sun wishes Ongsa would text her every day like Earth does.

“I’m back” Sun breathes into her girlfriend’s neck. Ongsa makes a happy sound and rubs her hand on her back, burrowing her face deeper into Sun’s shoulder. “I’m back” she whispers again, the words only making her giddier. “I missed you so much, my love.” Sun distances herself a little from her girlfriend to press a kiss to her tear stained cheek. Ongsa only hugs her tighter against her chest, the sweet fragrance of her perfume filling Sun's nose again.
