Being closer, sometimes, is not as simple as it ought to be. It takes courage and you don’t know what you’ll find beyond the doors that might open before you.
It's one of those doors, among others, that will pick Haru and Rin's interest so badly they can't help but wonder: what's on the other side of the fog they found beyond the threshold? While exploring the unseen in and out of them, will they be brave enough to take a step forward?

“Do you want to go out with me?”
Hindsight, as they say, is 20-20. Rin had always possessed the uncanny (annoying) ability to rock Haru’s boat. Indeed, anticipation was a familiar feeling to Haru whenever Rin was concerned, so maybe this question should have come to him as no surprise—but it did. Haru was never sure what he was supposed to be anticipating on the days he knew he’d see Rin, just that he ought to be ready for it—whether it be for a race or to compete in a petty contest. Maybe there was always more to it than just swimming or rivalry and he was too busy bracing himself to notice.
But he couldn’t think about that right now. He was too busy standing there, wide-eyed, in front of the one person who was unrelenting in his mission to keep changing his life.
“Rin…”
“Yeah?” He asked, breathily.
“I think I’m going to pass out.”

His eyes were wide, devoid of any light.
Yoo Joonghyuk’s steady, deep breathing became even more prominent in this heavy silence. His palm pulsated against the slender wrist in his grasp.
He watched Kim Dokja’s eyes alternate between his arm and Yoo Joonghyuk, the surprise delineated by his raised eyebrows.
“Get down from there.”
Upon transferring to a new high school, Yoo Joonghyuk somehow befriended the quiet boy who sat in the back of the classroom.
