Summary

“Hmm.” Crosshair feigned contemplation as he ran his metallic fingers over his chin. “How about always trying your hardest to get yourself killed?”
Hunter huffed and gestured to Crosshair with the glass in his hand, causing some of the amber liquid to slosh over the side of it. “I’ll have you know I only died twice while you were gone.”
Crosshair might as well have been kicked to the ground with the way the air was immediately sucked from his lungs.
On the anniversary of their brother’s tragic sacrifice, Crosshair decides to give himself and Hunter a new approach to grief. But as their shared mourning ebbs and the bottle flows, another tide threatens to destroy everything they've worked towards.

Summary
“Something’s wrong with him.”
Wrecker was taken aback by Omega’s sudden statement. Her serious tone was a stark contrast to the playfulness of what they had been doing most of the morning. Omega watched his brow furrow in the corner of her eye as she bent down to analyze another shell.
His confusion was genuine. “Crosshair?” Wrecker let out a fond scoff. “Nah, he’s always been this way. He’ll be ready to talk eventually.”
Omega shook her head and held tighter to the shell in her grasp. “I’m not talking about Crosshair.”
Omega wants things to go back to normal after escaping Tantiss. Hunter wants to keep her safe from everything, including himself.
But what they need is to stop hiding from each other, and they're both done waiting.

Summary
Experimental Clone Force 99 isn't called "experimental" without reason. Even when on the battle field, they end up as test subjects, sometime given new or untested supplies.
After a batch of experimental stims is given to them, their mission takes a bad turn when both Wrecker and Crosshair are put into a state of "fight or flight" thanks to the usage of the new stims. It's up to Tech, Echo and Hunter to get their brothers back to the Marauder in one piece, even if it means getting hurt themselves.

"Dominoes" is the perfect story for anyone who's invested in the clones. It has completely changed my perspective on the Domino Squad, and from here on out, I consider this canon and this only. The writer beautifully understands each character and gives them personalities that are not only fitting, but also unique to each member of the squad. I quite literally can't get enough of this one, and I'm more than likely to reread this over and over again. It's a classic!
