Summary
Well, it was a struggle (writing space stuff is HARD man) but here it is. My planned 15k fic that turned into 40k. This is for the AFTG Reverse Big Bang and I had the WONDERFUL experience of working with the lovely EstaVS, who is the artist who chose this prompt and created some amazing art (links below). Art will be embedded with each chapter but you can preview it now on their medias.
This is a Firefly/Serenity AU that does follow the plot pretty closely, so if you don’t want some spoilers feel free to check out the series/movie first. But no knowledge of them is needed to read this fic.

Summary

When he starts looking into the mysterious disappearance of Mary and Nathaniel Wesninski, that all disappears. Suddenly, he finds himself blacklisted in his line of work. Unable to move forward with the piece, he finds a platform with The Foxhole Network, the communications department at his Alama Mater. With the help of the TFN team, he puts together a podcast and goes on the hunt for Mary and Nathaniel, following leads sent by their listeners and connecting dots that hadn't bothered to be connected before.
