Summary
Hawkeye steps off the train at Grand Central Station and there he is, not even ten paces away and already looking right at him, like there was no other place for him to be.
“You’re a sight for sore eyes, Hawk,” Sidney murmurs, hugging him right back before he holds him out at arm’s length to look him over with a grin. “I never realized how good-looking you were under all that mud, blood and khaki.”

Someone you rent for a bit of fun and release. You just put money on the table and they get to say yes or no – and for the record, they seldom say no. So a whore is no one to pine for. Which is just as well, because Arthur isn’t pining for anyone.
And certainly not anyone who’ll disappear off with any random knight for the right amount.

He stared, screwing up his eyes before opening them again. The view didn't change. He must've fallen and hit his head. It was the only explanation. Maybe he lay flat on his face, unconscious at the bottom of the gantry, and this was all some kind of dream.

“Keep track of—Beej, what? You’re giving me your watch?”
“Loaning,” BJ corrected, a grin growing beneath that war crime of a mustache. “I’ll take it back a year from now, when you come find me in Mill Valley to return it. With interest, of course.” He patted the pocket, grin fading to something earnest. “That way you know I mean it when I say we’ll see one another again.”

When a transporter malfunction drops Julian Bashir into the Korean War, he trades dermal regenerators for scalpels and discovers three truths: frontline medicine is brutal, homemade gin is terrible and necessary, and watching someone else suffer through possibly requited love makes you determined not to do the same.
Welcomed into the 4077th MASH, Julian befriends nurses who deserve far more respect than they get, flirts with a doctor who’s far too wisecracking to actually be ok, and tries to save as many lives as he can until he’s rescued.

Summary
It is silly to rack up a long-distance bill on his dad's phone line just because Hawkeye sometimes needs to hear BJ's voice when he's had a bad day. BJ is the more practical of the two of them; of course he'd think twice about calling Hawkeye. Even though Hawkeye never thinks twice about calling him.
A few months after coming home, Hawkeye calls BJ after a hard day. BJ's day turns out to have been harder.

Summary
Mike wakes up to the knowledge that something has gone very wrong.
It's not until he sits up, in a bed that he doesn't recognize, and sees a familiar shape sitting at the very edge of the mattress, back turned away, that a nearly decade old memory tumbles into his mind of what Alan and him had later played off as one more elaborate prank on the rest of the cast.
"Hey," he says.
"You talk in your sleep," the man in his bed says, and the voice is so different that it's what makes Mike believe this is really happening. "I never did have a chance to thank you."
-----Mike wakes up in a bed that isn't his to a man with a voice that is and isn't that of the man he works with every day.
