“Why do you always do that?” He asked, through gritted teeth. Yuji couldn’t stop the smile from slipping before he brought it back.
“Do what?” He asked, forcing the most air he could into his words. His resolve was crumbling, cracking into pieces like the mask he had put over his feelings.
“That,” Fushiguro rolled his eyes, gesturing vaguely to Yuji.
“You know, you’re going to have to be more specific–”
“You do this, where you break down and you tear yourself apart, but the second someone comes to help, you act like it’s fine. You act like it’s nothing,” Fushiguro snapped. He all but whispered as he added, “You act like you’re nothing.”
And Yuji’s mask shattered.

Summary
A high-pitch whistle cut into the night air, startling the village into silence. He had never known any dragon to make a noise like that. The explosion that followed was concussive, accompanied by a shockwave that nearly knocked Wilbur off his feet. His blood ran cold. In a heartbeat, everything changed. No longer was this an ordinary attack, because Wilbur had never heard the words night fury said with such fear during any attack in his lifetime.
“You five, here, now,” Sam commanded.
“Sam, I can help!” Techno said, as if in a trance.
“No. No. You are not, under any circumstances, going out there,” Sam ordered.
Behind them, a building went up in flames. Wilbur kept his eyes trained on Techno. Stuck in a silent argument, Wilbur pleaded silently with his brother, begging him to stay with the rest of them. His pleas were ignored, left as Techno turned on his heel, breaking into a run towards the fight.
Without thinking, Wilbur took after him. He ignored the shouts of Sam behind him. He refused to lose another family member, no matter how much they hated each other.

“Who cares about memories? We’re only here to do our job and protect L’Manburg from the Greater Essempee.” Techno said, taking another sip of his drink.
“Seriously?” Tommy deadpanned. “We are in a random field, in buttfuck nowhere outside of fucking Logstedshire or something. It’s basically as far away from the Essempee as you can get while still in L’Manburg. I bet if I walked like twenty minutes that way I’d hit the Empire or something.”
“So you think that means we get to slack off? We’re here for a reason, not for fun.” Techno argued back.
“Trust me, nothing about this is fun,” Tommy grumbled, crossing his arms defensively.

His hand is absolutely not fine, upon closer inspection. The entire thing is blistering and peeling, with a hard lump in the middle where the puncture marks are.
Just what I needed, on top of everything — getting bit by some weird jacked-up spider. I bet it was genetically modified to give people cancer.
No way is he missing any more school, though, so he just puts on his biggest hoodie and pulls the sleeves over his hands.

Fushiguro scoffed and rolled his eyes, effectively cutting Yuuji off. Yuuji shut his mouth with a slight pout, watching as Fushiguro shoved his hands into his pockets. He pursed his lips, glancing over Yuuji with disdain. “You.” He said cooly, and nothing more.
“Uh. Yes, me,” Yuuji replied dumbly.

When Yuuji wakes up, the first thing he’s met with is a pair of the most gorgeous green eyes he’s ever seen.
His eyes widen as he finally takes in his surroundings. He’s on some rooftop, alone, save for Fushiguro. Scraps of his suit circle him. A few feet away, a piece of fabric sits, a giant, blazing, condemning spider logo in the center.
He looks back up at Fushiguro, who had since steeled his expression.
And those green eyes stare into Yuuji’s. And Yuuji isn’t wearing a mask. And Fushiguro knows that he’s Spider-Man.
“Oh my god,” Yuuji gasps. “Oh my god.”

When Megumi asked him to save Yuuji, it was a request that Gojo had every intention of fulfilling. The more he got to know Yuuji, the more he understood as to why Megumi wanted the boy to live. Yuuji was kind, selfless, and had a smile that could light up the world.
Gojo never thought that Yuuji would need to return the favor.
But he was wrong.
Yuuji pushes him away from Sukuna, who had stolen Megumi’s body weeks ago. All the planning for Gojo and Sukuna’s fight is thrown to the side as Yuuji takes his sensei’s place.
A barrier surrounds a shocked Sukuna and solemn Yuuji, one that Gojo could not break.
Then a voice that sends chills down Gojo’s spine breaks the silence. A voice that belongs to someone with stitches across their forehead.
“Ryomen Sukuna. Gojo Satoru...There’s been a change of plans.”
