Summary
So Wolfwood, being the wonderful, attentive, doting partner that he can be, decides that this is the best opportunity for him to spoil Vash first thing in the morning. For once, he will be the one to enter the room with steaming cups of coffee, sugar levels tampered with just right so he can greedily hear the small noises of contentment Vash does anytime he has good food or drink.

A flurry of kids pouring from every area of the orphanage wrangle themselves to huddle around the TV, crackling static filling the air as the holiday movie switches on.
"Vash, can you bring the-"
"Already on my way." Vash sidles up to Wolfwood, the plate of cookies in one hand and Wolfwood's waist in the other. A picture of domesticity.
"How do you always know what I'm thinking?" Wolfwood checks to make sure the kids are watching the TV, which, of course they are, before chastely kissing the frosting from the corner of Vash's lips. "Had something there."
Vash huffed, shoving a way too sweet cookie between his teeth, Wolfwood cringing at the scrape of the sugar crystals. "Can't get enough of me, can you?"

Vash and Wolfwood have found their way back to the Hopeland Orphanage, now spending their days together comfortably. The end of the year comes, and with it, the holidays. -

Vash does have his priorities in order, thank you. Wolfwood will come to learn this. Or maybe he’ll just come.
For all the lambasting he’s wont to do about battlefield tactics and triage and self-preservation and whatnot, Wolfwood is the one awfully preoccupied with the contents of Vash’s coat.
“You packed your strap,” he hears Wolfwood mutter behind him, aghast, as they move quickly across yet another rooftop, “but not even a single bullet?”
