Summary
Buck drops his head in his hands, and the way Maddie reaches across the table to rub his shoulder pulls a hysteric laugh from his lips.
“Oh my god,” he mutters. “Am I in love with Eddie?”
Maddie laughs, a shocked, half aborted thing, and Buck looks up at her in offense.
“Sorry, I just–” She clears her throat and pats his arm in what he supposes is meant to be a comforting gesture. “But yeah, I think you are.”
Buck comes out, but it doesn't really make anything that much clearer for him.
