"What's your name?" He asked out, finding himself surprised by his own voice when he hears it – it was warm, and it had a different tone onto it than the usual monotone.
The boy looked over to him, swinging happily before he hopped out with a jump, landing coolly to the grass with his knee propped to the ground. He turned to him and showed a hand, and it made a spark flood through his fingertips when he touched it.

Will.
He was the one he was waiting for. And his name was Will – the person he was sure he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, the one he could only manage to feel the warmth with whenever he was around. Will. Will.
He was his hope..
..But.. the thing is, his mother told him that this miracle person happens once in a lifetime, and that he couldn't dare take that opportunity away because they would be the only key for him to feel alive. There are no other people who can do the same because there's one person that could manage to do this, which would determine as soulmates.
They're tied together – bonded together, for life. So whatever gets in their way.. needs to be gone.

Summary
Will Byers is sixteen when he dies for a second time. This time, he thought, there would be no revivals, no take-backs. He would die and that would be the end of the short and miserable life of William Byers. Which is really fucking sad because he feels like life would've finally been good for him. He'd defeated the Mind Flayer and Vecna. He'd finally gotten his love for Mike reciprocated. But now he was there, in his arms, quickly fading. The Mind Flayer’s connection was dragging him down with it into the depths of oblivion. Perhaps the universe still has one kindness to spare for him.
OR
Will is sent back to the summer of 1985. He gets strange visions and enlists the help of Jane Hopper to recover his memories and hopefully save more than they could last time around.
