She has now seen him as he is: that trembling, dark animal in the road, flayed open to his grieving and greedy soul, unable to escape the horrors of the open road. But Lisbon has stopped the car for him. She’s taking him home.

It all started with a legendary hangover and a stupid bet. To alleviate the boredom at work, the CBI (and later, FBI) team creates a morbid bingo game: tracking crimes committed by men dressed as Santa Claus.
