Summary
Recurrence is an extremely rare phenomenon which sees the gene pattern of one individual manifest in an entirely separate individual. Recurrence is viewed as having a religious or mystical dimension, and some entitled individuals bequeath parts of their estate to any potential recurrence in their will. It's an equivalent of Reincarnation from Earth's culture.
After brushing against death, Caroline Forbes begins to glimpse fragments of a life once lived, memories bleeding through the veil of time. Summary
A twenty first century girl gets reincarnated as baby Rebekah Mikaelson. Except it takes her turning into an Original Vampire to get the memories related to the show back. Except she never watched the whole thing.

“You’re Ben’s, aren’t you?”
Hanzo’s Adam's apple bobs in his throat.
“Yes.”
Han sighs and sinks into the pilot’s chair.
“Leia’s going to be happy, I guess. She always wanted grandkids.” Hanzo blinks sleepily at the mention of his grandmother. “Though I doubt this is how either of us thought it was going to happen.”
“Gods, dad, you’re heavy.” Bente complains as she drags Kylo Ren's limp body through the snow and to the TIE fighter she ‘liberated’. She prays to the Force she’ll make it in time before the planet explodes. “What are they feeding you? You’re huge.”
In which Hanzo and Bente time travel. And save a couple of lives along the way.
