She heard the quiet whine of something fast and aerodynamic cutting through the air before she fully processed what it could mean. Scott’s even tread stumbled and slowed, and she spun around on the balls of her feet just in time to see him pitch forward, a short black crossbow bolt sticking out of his back.
Hayden screamed. Somehow, she managed to get her arm around him before he fell.
“Go, I’m fine,” he said, teeth gritted.
He sounded like every muscle in his body had tensed at once, and she rolled her eyes. “Yeah, like hell.”

Summary
Theo doesn’t go back in the cage. He’s allowed to hose himself down and drag himself with a small meal back to his cot in the cell. The door is closed, but the lock doesn’t click into place.
Theo doesn’t eat. The bowl of meal sits on his trembling knees as he presses his hands flat under his thighs and rocks back and forth on the edge of the cot, mouth opening and closing, eyes distant and cold as glass.
You crouch in front of him.
“Theo,” you try again, the first time in years.
“Tara,” he says, shocking you. Your eyes widen. “I wish you were here.”
But he’s not looking at you. Through you, perhaps, but at the wrong angle.
“It wasn’t worth it,” he says. “It wasn’t. It wasn’t. It wasn’t.” His breaths are wet, but his lashes stay dry. “Not for your heart. Not for it to be treated this way.”
“Theo,” you cry out.
It’s his twelfth birthday. It feels cruel that now, in more ways than one, you'll never be his big sister again.

Theo decides to stay in Beacon Hills after the events of the Ghost Riders and Monroe's Army. He's not sure why, knows that the town will probably be attacked by some big bad again (spoiler: Theo's right), but while he can't find a logical reason to stay, he can't quite find any push to leave either.
An exploration of Theo Raeken, everything that he's been made to be, and all the potential that remains. It is, first and foremost, a story of Theo's journey, built around the narrative of a new threat in Beacon Hills and eventual Theo/Liam relationship. Will feature appearances from other Teen Wolf characters (to be updated as we go): Alec, Nolan, Sheriff Stilinski, Jordan Parrish, Scott, Stiles, Derek, Peter, the Calaveras.
Starts in season 6, goes past the finale from chapter 3 onwards. Inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and Albert Camus' essay, The Myth of Sisyphus.

Summary
Liam doesn’t think he hit his head on the way down, but the details leading up to their current predicament are a little hazy. He knows four things for sure.
1.) Theo had refused to explain what he was doing here when Liam asked, and had gone so far as to laugh when Liam suggested he was reverting back to his stalker-ish ways.
2.) Liam may have thrown the initial punch in their impromptu fistfight, but it was Theo who tackled him to the floor after both their noses got bloodied up.
3.) Theo had also been the one to connect their mouths.
4.) Theo isn’t wearing a shirt. Or shoes.
It’s all very confusing.

Summary
When Theo comes back from hell, the reality of it becomes too much and he does the only thing he couldn't do in there: shift. Four months after the chimera escaped the jail cell the pack placed him in, he appears in Liam’s backyard… except he’s in wolf form and starving.
Liam decides that if Theo is his responsibility then he must help him figure out why the chimera can’t shift back to human. Maybe the puppy pack would take him more seriously if he stopped rambling about Theo for one fucking minute. Or if Theo stopped being a lap dog on main.

Summary
Theo Raeken sits in front of him, jaws clenched shut. He moves slow, deliberate, like he's practiced the movements. Only when he's already put the phone to his own ear does Liam remember to take his own off the hook. It's just so jarring seeing the guy again after everything that happened. And the worst thing is, he looks... different. Almost small, lonely.
It's what he deserves.
"I'd say I'm surprised to see you here, but honestly I'm more curious what took you so long," Theo's voice crackles in his ear. A smirk spreads over his face, a reflection of the Theo he knows too well, even after months. He was too quick to judge before, just because the guy could use a shave, doesn't mean he's any weaker than he remembers.
Or: "Thiam AU where Theo doesn't get sent to Hell, but he's in prison instead and Liam starts to visit him because he wants to know about the Wild Hunt and then he (tries) to break him out of prison".

Liam makes an unamused noise and slides up further against the wall. His shoulder bumps against Theo’s as he shifts, two seconds of leeching warmth untainted by syringes of fool’s-mercury. It feels like a welding gun to his skin, sparks springing onto his unguarded face. Both boys elect to ignore it. “You didn’t tend to my wounds, jackass.”
Theo eyes him wearily. Fantasising about violence is not new to him, but the victim looking like he got run through a meat grinder is, to a degree. Nevertheless, he can play nice. Old dogs have learned new tricks before. “I was going to, but then you said you didn’t want my help, so I guess the freaky murder warehouse ghosts will have to do it instead.”

Theo, Lydia, and Stiles eventually defeat the Dread Doctors and the Beast—with the help of Dr. Valack, who then takes over Eichen House. After Valack is defeated, the three face Der Soldat and the Wild Hunt.
Now, it's been two months since the Hunt finally ended. At this point, Theo has given up on ever feeling safe again, but he'll settle for a quiet senior year, and it seems like he might even get it.
That's when Scott McCall, whom no one has seen in eight years, blows back into town.
