There it is. He’s overplayed his hand. Tom turns away, waving his hand dismissively.
“Don’t be absurd, it’s just— It’s—“ He’s physically groping in the air now for the words. “It’s culturally significant, Greg. You don’t like it, you just… You recognise it. Like the local news jingle, or that smell you get in hotel lobbies that’s definitely carcinogenic but kind of reassuring, or— Just shut up.”
“I didn’t say anything!” Greg protests, but he’s still smiling that same self-satisfied grin.
“You looked at me,” Tom says hopelessly. “You gave me that look, that ‘oh wow, Tom’s having emotions’ look. I don’t have emotions, ok? I have investments. And I came here for brand synergy, not for… Melodic catharsis.”

Greg only manages to inhale a sharp breath before Tom’s lips crash against his. Like a tall wave crashing against the shore. Forceful, not by choice, but by nature. The shore takes it, though. Without wavering, it withstands the beating of the waves. Standing strong, for years and years on end.
Somehow, there’s harmony there.

Greg thinks about how long it took to peel the sticker from his forehead all those weeks ago. He thinks about how he had to take a shower to tease the unyielding adhesive from his skin, had to scrub body wash on his face like someone had been sitting on it for the past hour (he wishes). It didn’t feel like nothing, even after Greg towels off and examines his reflection, seeing only the hint of a circle on his forehead, slightly red from all the rubbing. Despite the stickers' absence, he had been imprinted upon, somehow.
or: after Tom “saves" Greg, Greg figures out ways to save Tom.

“Greg”, Tom says, suddenly even closer. His lips are right next to Greg’s ear and Greg can feel his warm breath on the sweat-damp skin of his neck. He shivers and draws in a sharp breath.
“Y-yeah, Tom?”
“One could almost think you’re not interested… in her, at all.”
Greg might be imagining it, but maybe, just maybe, there is the barest brush of lips against his neck just below his ear. Greg blinks hard, tries to breathe. The stripper turns to the music, drops into a graceful split and throws a smirk in their direction. There’s no way she’s heard anything, but - Greg doesn’t want to think about what they look like right now, Tom’s lips so close to his neck.
“I’m interested”, he forces out, “she’s just, maybe not my type? Exactly? I don’t know…”
Tom's smiling at him like a shark, annoyingly smug and too fucking hot for Greg to handle.
“Think you could do better, since this isn’t good enough for you? Since you’re an expert? Think you could make me give you more money than she can? You think you could make my dick harder?”
Greg makes a sound, an astonished little cough, and feels his whole face heat up.

Summary
Tom finally flicks the switch when they’re in the car to the office. It’s a reasonably safe space to experiment, at least, but it still makes Greg’s cheeks flush when he feels the gentle tendrils of sensation start to unfurl inside him. His fingers dig into leather as he turns his head to look at Tom in stunted increments. He feels like his entire body is on fire.
He finds that Tom is already looking at him as their eyes lock. He looks bored and serious, elbow on the car door and resting his chin in his hand, like it’s just another day. Greg blinks at him, and figures he must look just a little bit flustered because Tom slowly starts to smile at him. He smiles back before he can help it, then Tom cranks the speed up to level 2 and his smile fades away.

OR: Greg suffers a morning in the office at the mercy of Tom's remote control.
