Nine didn't want more problems. He didn't want any more emotional turmoil. Nine just wanted to rest in peace in the Grim for the rest of his short life. But reality reminded him that there were still loose ends to tie up.
Hurt and convinced he deserves nothing, he found himself caught in a conflict orchestrated by the Chaos Council, Dr. Eggman, a certain blue hedghog that he desperately wanted to both see and not see, and that terrible yellow and happy fox that he hates.

She’s just his best friend.Which is why cleaning his apartment at four in the morning, buying an unreasonable amount of pillows, and fighting instincts he refuses to name is totally normal. Right?
