Summary
When Wei Wuxian died at Burial Mounds, the cultivation world cheered and celebrated for weeks. However, the heavens who had been rooting for the pure-hearted, self-sacrificing soul, were enraged. For the first time in millennia, selfish gods bundled their spiritual power together to do the impossible: they transmigrated Wei Wuxian’s soul to another world in hopes of giving him the life he deserved. Since such a great amount of power was involved, something remarkable happened that no one could have foreseen: the power fueled by their rage became its own sentient being and took a great part of the cultivation world with it to the next world. The gods watched on in horror as most of Wei Wuxian’s tormentors were pushed into his new world.
Enter the little Wei Ying, stumbling through an unknown little town, most memories wiped of his former life. In his disorientation, he ran into a man clad in white clothes, a simple bamboo hat perked on his head. Even though he bumped into him, the man looked down on him with a kind smile.

Wei Wuxian is spoiled, much more than jiejie's betrothed, Jin Zixuan. The difference between the two is Jin Zixuan is arrogant about it, while Wei Wuxian is oblivious to the boundless extent he can get away with everything he does.
Jiang Cheng is so thankful Wei Wuxian sees him and jiejie as his family.
With that, Jiang Cheng can be assured that if Wei Wuxian decides he wants to have the world, he and jiejie will sparingly be safe when his Supreme Ghost King father and Heavenly Martial Emperor father, not to mention his other Ghost King uncle and grandfather, heavenly official uncles and aunts plus wrath level ghost uncles and aunts, would turn heaven and earth upside down just to give him what he wants.
