Summary
Tyler has been slipping between dimensions for a long time. In one dimension, he’s Tyler Joseph, one half of the award-winning band Twenty One Pilots. In the other, he’s Clancy, a citizen of Dema. He’s used to the double life, and he's accepted a boring existence in Dema and a lonely existence in the real world. That is, until he meets Torchbearer, a man with his best friend’s face and none of his memories, who changes everything he thought about what life on Trench could be. Meanwhile, Tyler has been growing distant from Josh as his secret becomes harder and harder to manage, and all Josh wants is for his friend to let him back in.
