Sapnap cannot say a word. He stares, eyes wide.
The things that Karl listed are not things that the general public knows. These are small details that only his closest friends know. These are secrets that Sapnap never ever voiced – he never told Dream or George about Punz. He never ever explained that his grief for Punz is so strong because he was like a brother to him.
It's terrifying.
Karl looks at him, so earnest, his lips trembling. There’s wetness in his voice when he finishes. “And you love me,” he whispers. “You told me you loved me.”
It’s terrifying. It’s abnormal, it’s worrisome, it’s alarming.
And the scariest part is that Sapnap believes him.OR: the Dream Team are superheroes; Karl is a random guy who walks in and declares that he knows Sapnap.
