Summary
“Chuuya.” Dazai says, in a way that makes Chuuya think Dazai has said his name once already.
“Dazai.” He responds. When he looks up, he accidentally focuses on Dazai’s mouth, the deep raw color of the bruise growing on his cheek. Chuuya blinks, rocks on his feet, looks away.
“I said did you kill them?” Dazai asks after a long pause. His voice is uncomfortably even.
Chuuya looks at Dazai and the violence in his eyes shakes him to his core. His stomach floods with want. His toes curl in his shoes.
Chuuya nods, a jerk of his head. His ribs ache. Dazai evaluates him.
“We need to go.” Dazai says.
I am afraid of the power you hold over me, Chuuya thinks and says—
“Yeah.”
Dazai steps on a body when they leave, eyes trained elsewhere. It makes a sound like ice cracking.
Dazai doesn’t look down.
The palms of Chuuya’s hands itch.

Hawks snorts as he runs a hand through the grime of his hair and makes a face. “Yeah, well I haven’t showered given the situation. Didn't think a bubble bath was exactly a priority when there’s more pressing matters at stake, thanks for asking.”
Dabi clears his throat as he hesitantly shoves himself back into his pants.
“So this isn’t a middle of the night booty call,” Dabi pauses, clarifies, as he laments. “...it’s a dead body call?”

Summary
Hawks' approach is languid, his expression is easy and open. Even knowing it's fake, Dabi can't see the cracks in the façade. Horrifying, really.
"Hey," Hawks greets as he enters the shadow of the alley. He then proceeds to crash against the brick wall at a glacial pace, face smooshed up against the brick and his shoulders and torso slumping to follow.
In half surprise, half genuine glee, Dabi cackles. Hawks' arm twitches at his side like maybe he'd flip Dabi off if he had the strength.
Dabi's still chuckling when he asks, "How ya feelin', hero?"
"Like shit," Hawks grumbles into the wall.
"You look it," Dabi assures him, grinning and pulling out his phone. He came all this way; Hawks can afford to wait a minute while Dabi gets a few pictures.
Trying to get a ride home from a party, Hawks misdials and gets Dabi. Dabi, thinking it'll be fun to see his "favorite hero" drunk out of his mind, agrees to help Hawks get home.
Things get a lot less fun when Dabi realizes Hawks isn't drunk.

"I can't tell if you're screwing with me or what," Crispy Cream drawls.
"It's the 'or what'," Hawks offers.
Hawks gets hit with an amnesia quirk. Dabi gets begrudgingly involved.

“Careful, dumbass,” Shinsou teased, his grip lingering as they regained their footing.
“But fuck it,” Bakugou declared, his grin sharpening as he linked his arm through Shinsou’s with a sense of drunken determination. “Let’s celebrate!”

Dabi isn't. He's clinically traumatized and probably bipolar, but Hawks doubts he’s actually psychotic, so he continues, “You actually remind me a concerning amount of some of the Hero students I know now.”
It’s not some, it’s one, but given his parentage and the Villain’s animosity, being vague is the best course of action.
Dabi laughs like Hawks is joking, and the Hero wishes he was. “Maybe you’re the one that’s clinically insane.”
