Summary
Looking over to the open windows of the tower, the view of nothing but crowded trees that hid the taunting glowing city from afar.. the place he truly belonged to, made him let out a low, menacing hum.
With a flick of his wrist, the dark slimy vines closed the window shut – the darkness enveloping them. Just a fleeting sight of light seeped through the cracks from above, falling down to the little boy's fluttering amber eyes.
Vecna – or Henry, slowly clasped his hands behind his back, staring down at him.
"You and I, we are going to do such beautiful things together, William."
Yet somewhere beyond Vecna's reach, an oathless paladin unawarely moved through The March and searched something he could believe in – a devotion with no name - and it was going to collide paths with him, waiting for him in a tower that was built through shadows no spell could find..
For his fate was already bound to the blessed cleric that the world once thought they lost.

That’s when Will realized his pheromone blocker must have been peeled off by the water stream. His scent filled the room in seconds, strong and almost stifling. Mike must have realized it, too, because his head whipped to the side to look at him, eyes wide and panicked.
“Will, your- your patch,” he said, his voice strained from the effort of holding back the soldier banging against the door. The true extent of his scent must have hit him then, because his eyes widened even more. “You smell like… Will, you’re in heat.”
And that was the real problem - Will wasn’t just in pre-heat anymore, but definitely already in full-blown heat.

or: Will tries to hide the fact that he's in pre-heat when they go rescue the kids at the MAC-Z. The plan goes horribly wrong when he goes into full heat in the middle of the army base instead, and his pheromone blockers fail him.

Will dropped his head into his hands. “Mike, oh my god—”
Paladin Mike’s jaw tightened. “I do not own him,” he said immediately. “He is—” He stopped, swallowing. His eyes went back to Will softening, and that softness made Mike hate him even more. He could recognize the look, and saw it mirrored in his own eyes countless times.

“He is the Light. By your oath, I am bound to him. My liege.” He bowed his head slightly toward Will, his mouth wrapped around the word like it was a prayer. “My cleric.” He said after, softer.
“Oh my god.” Will flushed, impossibly. “That is crazy. He is actually crazy."
Max, who had been standing with her arms crossed behind them, muttered, “Jesus Christ,” under her breath.
Mike Wheeler is going to explode, because there is an alternate, armoured version of him, following Will Byers around like he belonged to him.

Summary
Will Byers goes missing on the night of November 6th after a game of DnD with his best friends. No one sees it coming, and everyone except for his closest family and friends are sure he’s got to be dead.
There are no lights to speak to, but there are demodogs to kill, and a bald girl in the woods. Mike is sure they lead to Will, even when he’s missing much longer than just a week or two.
Bob dies for a reason, even if he doesn’t know it, and that is to save Will. What no one expects is for Will to show up in the very building after murdering said monsters with the same powers as Eleven. It becomes increasingly clear that he doesn’t know what’s going on, and neither do they, although for very different reasons.

Summary
Will pressed his face to the glass, wishing that he were closer. The man’s cheeks were pale, having thick eyebrows and lips. His nose was long, though it didn’t disrupt the harmony of the man’s features. His eyes were the most captivating part of his face: wide and brown, reflecting the moonlight.
In other words, he was beautiful.
Will found himself blushing, feeling foolish for swooning over the knight, who clearly was just doing his job. He couldn’t help but itch for his parchment and ink, to see the man up close, take in those eyes when they weren’t forced to remain a disciplined neutral.
