Even if Roxanne was still in his life in some other timeline where he and Metro Man were both heroes, this moment couldn't have happened. Because then it would never have meant so much."
Basically just two dorks who love each other & haven't said it yet eating cupcakes for several thousand words. And some feelings regarding names and the occasional affectionate shortening thereof.

Roxanne needs a plus-one accompany her to the wedding of an old friend from school. Slight problem: her friend is a villain, marrying a villain, with many villainous colleagues in attendance, and Roxanne Ritchi is a well-recognized professional pawn. Who better to protect her at such an event than Megamind? The wedding is thousands of miles away, and Megamind can't fly, but that's okay - we find ourselves more in the journey than the destination, anyway. Some road trips, some shared hotel rooms, some quiet torches held, some eventual smooching. You know the drill. Part 1 of 2.

Summary
The level of surrender Megamind is able to achieve with Roxanne is beyond even his capacity to imagine. Even now, having experienced it more than once, it simply doesn't compute. To be bound so completely, to be in the presence of another person and so helpless to protect himself, to be in pain, and to be so relaxed, so happy…it takes his breath away all over again, every time.
Also, to mix things up: temperature play with ice.

Wayne is back in the cape (in a limited capacity) and does not understand; Roxanne, Megamind, and Minion do their best to explain, and the hero comes out of it understanding way more than anyone expected going into it.

This remarkable letter of unknown provenance surfaced recently in the cuneiform collection of the University of West Wessex. Addressed to Azirapil from a Mr. “Crawly,” it appears to be begging for the other’s return to Ur from a western journey with another individual, Abiraham. The relationship between the two (brothers? business partners? friends?) is unknown.
