Brainstorm sips loosely at his drink, nodding along at whatever Rodimus is saying. The words fly in one audial and out the other for as much as Brainstorm cares. No, his processor is focused on something much more entertaining. His eyes track Perceptor across the bar, watching the mech as he chats in a booth.
He drinks in the sight, the mech’s visage far a sweeter image than whatever lay inside his cup. Perceptor nods at Nautica, agreeing with her. A slight smile shines on his face and Brainstorm tightens the grip on his drink, jealousy flashing big and bright.
It should be him putting that smile on Perceptor’s face. They were simpatico, after all.

Summary
Ultra Magnus has never thought of having, or wanting, anything more with his captain. He's happy with how things are, and if he's noticing more and more of Rodimus' appealing qualities, it's surely just a result of Rodimus ever improving as a captain.
Rodimus has wanted more with his second in command for far, far longer than he wants to admit. In fact, he doesn't want to admit it at all, and he will continue not to. He's satisfied with what he has, and will not risk losing it now over some silly feelings.
And Minimus' repressed and long forgotten alt form is just tired of waiting for them to figure it out.

Summary
Mirage is in pieces. Everything else is over, the battle won, but it doesn't feel like it when Noah only has a seemingly dead pile of silver metal to show for it. But he'll fix him, no matter what it takes, even if he has to ask everyone he knows to help make it happen. Optimus seems to believe he can; so maybe Mirage is more alive than he appears at first glance.
And, hopefully, he doesn't die in the time it takes to make it happen.
