   Summary

   That night in the motel, Belly had gone to bed in a white tank top and shorts. Her hair was so long it fell past her shoulder blades. She wore no jewelry. The new her, the her that had appeared at 3:03 am, had bluntly cut shoulder-length hair and a gleaming rock on her left ring finger. She wore only a black pair of panties and a baby-pink camisole that stretched halfway down her very round and very pregnant abdomen.
