Well. Evidently going undercover to an Idan society fling in order to deliver a message to a high-profile BoE agent was a tits-out kind of look.

    Summary

They tell her the war is over, and they tell her that she's lost. The Tomb has been opened, Dominicus has burnt out, the Houses lie in perpetual darkness - and Judith and Coronabeth have outlived their usefulness.

At least she's dying in her uniform.

It would be infinitely more cruel, after all, to have her carry on in the state she's in.

    Summary

She twisted in the sheets. If I hadn’t known she was sick I might have called it writhing. Her body undulated in discomfort and she let out a bevy of soft little whimpers and moans. The discomfort of her illness must have been considerable to provoke such a display. I was sure she was awake but she did not acknowledge me, so I stood at a parade rest, knowing she would address me when she felt strong enough to do so.

This went on for several minutes.
