Summary

Marinette has to navigate becoming an overnight celebrity, accidentally breaking a few hearts in the process, and dealing with the new target on her back. The boy pointed at the dolphin on the truck, his expression curious. “What’s that in Chinese?”
Hao noticed how he seemed to slow his words down when speaking to him.
He blinked, and followed his gaze. “Haitun,” he answered automatically, the word rolling off his tongue with ease, tasting like home.
The boy repeated it carefully, stumbling over the tones but trying anyway. “Hai… tun.”
He pointed back at the dolphin. “In Korean?”
The boy puffed up slightly, pleased to be the one with knowledge this time. “Dolgorae.”
Hao repeated it, the unfamiliar syllables strange and thick. “Dol… go… rae.”
They giggled awkwardly, both a little messy from tears and melting ice cream, both clutching their cones like trophies.
Sung Hanbin and Zhang Hao spend their last summer together before university circling feelings they’ve never said out loud while the future pulls them in different directions.

On the first day of school, Marinette Dupain-Cheng thinks the worst thing that could happen is being in the same class as Chloe again, but then a supervillain appears and she is chosen to be a superhero. To make matters worse her superhero partner is just as self-conscious as she is.
